|Holman students solve problems to demonstrate kitchen safety|
|Friday, January 20, 2017|
Holman Middle School students used their problem-solving skills to demonstrate they were savvy about kitchen safety - all while cracking codes and escaping to new challenges.
The activity in Alisa Neal's Family and Consumer Science 2 class was based on the newly popular concept of escape rooms - a fun activity where friends and families work together to solve puzzles in order to "escape" from a room. Students used their knowledge about cooking and kitchen safety to work collaboratively and solve problems to earn clues which led to more problems to solve.
